You can jog, bike, roller blade, play volleyball, barbecue and fish in this park as many times as you wish and you would love it more each and every time.

Kern River Pathway Beach Park is a 8.7 kilometer lightly trafficked loop trail located near Bakersfield, California and is good for all skill levels. This trail is mostly paved but does have one gravel section. Along the way is the Beach Park, Yokuts Park, and Metropolitan Recreation Center.
 
There are 3 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of 21st Street in the center of the trail. All of them are van-accessible with striped access aisles. Mill Creek has been revitalized with walking paths, small waterfalls, and a covered bridge. Mill Creek Linear Park is a 1.9 kilometer moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Bakersfield, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The impressive steel and rock structure of the theater appears to be on an island surrounded by a three acre lake and cobble lined stream bed that circulates water between the audience and stage and contains lighted fountains. The stage area is over 3,000 square feet of surface area and soars over 28 feet to the cross beams.

River Walk Loop at Kern River is a 1.8 kilometer heavily trafficked loop trail located near Bakersfield, California that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, bird watching, and road biking and is accessible year-round.

Accessibility: There do not appear to be any designated accessible spaces along Mc Innes Boulevard or Chinon Street at the southwest end of the trail. However, there are at least 3 designated accessible spaces in the paved parking lot off of Westwold Drive. It has been marked with a waypoint. The trail surface is paved concrete, smooth, and typically at least 4 feet wide.
 
The estimated grade is mostly gentle (5% or less). This trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or stroller users. There are benches and picnic tables along the route for resting.
